I {heart} my girls

2 of my very talented friends made these cute hats and tutus
for my girls. I had to share...

They have a blog & an etsy shop...the link is on my blog.

(loopty loo designs)

Soph loves wearing her tutus...her hat, not so much. :)

Katey absolutely loves it all! :)

Did I mention that I {heart} my girls!?

I love Christmas!!!!

I love Christmas. I mean, what's not to love!?

...besides your husband deciding to grow a beard for Christmas. :)

On Christmas Eve my kiddos all got matching outfits...

...then we went to the Chipmunks movie...

...and then they all got new jammies.

Christmas morning was so much fun!

They all got everything they wanted...

...and then some.
It's hard not to give them everything...

...especially when they're so good...

...and oh so sweet.

I mean, look at that face! :)

The best thing was the boys singing along with Katey's HSM wii game.
It was truly priceless.
My sweet little Soph got this walker/stroller. "Santa" had no idea she'd really start walking the day she got it. It wasn't supposed to have that effect RIGHT AWAY!! Yikes!! :)

Ryan's gingerbread house

Ryan has one of those crazy room moms. You know, the kind who does a party on the 23rd of December...AND makes 25 homemade gingerbread houses...AND makes 25 bags of royal icing to frost them...AND rounds up 10,000 pounds of candy to decorate them with. I am one of those crazy moms who actually shows up to help her..even though I had a million other things to do.

Hayden got to go with me. He loved helping Ryan! It was a lot of fun! :)

I love my Sophers!

What can I say? I am in love.

Grandma Carrolyn's Christmas Dinner - December 20th, 2009

LOVE is not a strong enough word.

Grandma Carrolyn does a big turkey dinner on the Sunday before Christmas every year. This year she had Uncle Phil come dressed as Santa. It was so fun. He was so cute with the kids and did a great job remembering all of their names! They all loved him! :)

Katey's Dance Recital - December 19th, 2009

Katey and her friend after the recital. Apparently this is the only picture I took. Good thing I got some great video footage since it was the best Katey has ever danced! :)

After the recital we went to McDonald's to make it a "special day" for Katey. (Those were her words.) Soph was being so cute, I couldn't resist a couple of pictures. :)

Grandma Pat's Santa Party - December 18th, 2009

The cousins all do a gift exchange.
Here are my kiddos opening their presents...

Santa gave the boys hats and the girls gloves,
hence the brown hats in every picture.

Matt wrapped Taylor's football cards in a light bulb box. Taylor thought he was really just getting light bulbs. It was pretty funny.

I love my kiddos. They make Christmas so much fun!

Mason just asked for Legos...even though we all know he wants touch and brush.

Ry just asked for a football. Nothing more.

Hayden still wants a hot dog. He also added "lightning balls" to his list while sitting on Santa's lap. Apparently he means a ball with Lightning McQueen on it, but my brothers all thought it was hysterical that he asked Santa for "lightning balls" and a hot dog. I think they're still 12, they act like it anyways. :)

Katey wants Heely's. She's wanted them for years.
Maybe this year she'll get lucky! :)

Soph just wanted to get off Santa's lap.

(Until she warmed up to him anyways.)

Every year Santa says, "This is the nice knee...this is the naughty knee...you decide which one to sit on." Every year Taylor sits on the "naughty knee". He thinks it is so funny. (My brothers think it's hilarious that Santa has a "naughty knee"...they are so 12.) Oh, and all Tay asked for was more football cards.

Spencer, Taylor, Ryan and Lauren had to sing a solo.

Hayden is the sweetest baby ever. He gave Santa SO many hugs. I'm sure he's on the nice list.
