Distracted...

I got a little distracted tonite and went waaaayyy back into my blog. I have no idea why, but I read old posts for about an hour. It was fun! I used to be a good blogger. I used to be funny. I used to do more than post pictures once a month. I used to get a lot of comments on my blog too. :) I just don't love blogging the way I used to. I don't know why. I used to be pretty full of myself too. I used to think everything I said was hilarious. I used to think I had loyal fans and that I should tell them every thought that popped into my head. Don't ask me why. Oh, I remember why I went back to those old posts. I was thinking that since my baby turned 2 today I should post something about her. I went back to her birthday posts from last year (yeah, there were 3 of them) and realized I was a much better mother back then. I don't know what happened. I think I got bored or...well, distracted I guess. I think I have ADD, well okay...I KNOW I have ADD. :) Plus, I have 2 afternoons a week ALL TO MYSELF and I have no idea what to do! You would think that would inspire me to blog or do something productive, but I usually just sit on my butt wasting the time away, trying to find some motivation to do something. Hayden has been in preschool twice a week since September and Sophey has been napping while he's gone. You'd think now that it is almost March I would know what to do with myself. Um, apparently not. I guess I need a hobby and blogging may or may not be a good one for me. Ok, I am done rambling. I am going to bed because I am exhausted! Did I mention that Chris is out of town more often than he's in town these days? It sucks. I think that is the root of the problem here. See, who needs a therapist? I just rambled for 15 minutes and got to the bottom of it on my own. Too bad I can't prescribe my own medication...I think I may need some. Thanks for being my friend, even if I am just talking to myself here. :)

Valentine's Day & a little field trip. :)

Yeah, I know I posted 3 pictures of Hayden's Arctic Circle field trip. I think it's funny how many times we attempted to get a good picture. It's impossible with that many kids! :)

Katey's 3rd grade Valentine's Day party! I am the room mom for her class, so I got to help at her party! (Hence the amount of pictures to follow)

My friend forgot her camera, so I gave her mine and told her to get some of Katey too. She got some really good ones. :)

Doesn't she looked thrilled to have me there? :)

I also got to help at Mason's party for a minute before I ran to Tay's party too. I love spending time at the school with my kiddos!

...working hard on his craft...

The reason he's smiling in this picture is because I gave my camera to his "girlfriend" and had her go and take his picture for me. :)

Tay chillin' (and flashing gang signs) at his party. :)

Apparently Ryan's class didn't even have a party...apparently they are WAY too cool for that now!

All you need is L-O-V-E

All you need is love...
...well, and a cute baby...

...a talented friend who makes cute hats...

...and some super awesome sun glasses...

...and a new camera that you're still trying to figure out to make a fun afternoon while everyone else is at school. :)

I know it's weird...

OK, I know it's weird to blog about my cats. I am not a crazy cat lady, I promise. However, I have stumbled upon some blogs lately where people actually blog as their cats! Yup, AS THEIR CATS! It is quite disturbing and apparently there is a whole "community" of cat bloggers. I promise not to blog about them too much, but I couldn't resist posting these pics! My babies are getting big fast! Callie is SUCH a diva! She is too good for everyone!

Coal is a total sweetheart! The kind that jumps on your lap just to snuggle. I love it. :) Here he is trying to get some sun on a FREEZING cold winter day.

He was asleep IN my blinds. :)

I know this looks a little cozy for brother and sister, but don't worry they're spayed and neutered and they just like to wrestle like siblings. :)
