Yellowstone

Although it was cold, it was a beautiful day! Little did we know, as we took our first trip through Yellowstone that weekend, that we would see SO many cool things!!
Like buffalo RIGHT outside our car windows. It was like the running of the bulls in Spain, only more like the walking of the buffalo...this mama is feeding her baby right on the side of the road...this picture is out of order...there are more at the bottom of this post.
 We even saw a coyote!

Oh my Boopa...she was a pretty good traveler. :)
We stopped here because my Dad usually sees bears here, but it was so cold and we got impatient...

My Dad spotted this bald eagle in the tree as we were flying down the road...he turned around quick...just in time to see it before it flew away. He is the best animal spotter ever (and a Yellowstone junkie)...that's the main reason we invited him! :)

This big grizzly bear was just off the side of the road.

I have been to Yellowstone countless times and have NEVER seen so many buffalo!

Chris made eye contact with this one as he was yelling at it...it was a little scary...
...they kept walking right in front of our car...

They had traffic backed up in both directions for quite a while as they meandered on down the canyon

This is the mama feeding her baby...it was freaking awesome.

Best day ever in Yellowstone!
